NRLW Match Preview: Raiders v Knights

LeagueNews.co | Nick Loken

The Canberra Raiders are gearing up for their first ever NRLW stand-alone home game against the Newcastle Knights this Saturday at GIO Stadium Canberra.

Despite coming off a tough 40-8 loss to the Broncos last weekend, the Raiders are determined to turn things around and secure a victory.

Throughout the season, the Raiders have proven to be a formidable team, losing only two games and currently sitting in fourth position on the ladder.

With the return of key players Apii Nicholls at fullback and Ua Ravu on the bench, the Raiders are confident in their ability to take on the reigning premiers, the Knights.

The Knights have also had a successful season, currently sitting in second place with ten points.

They are coming off a 22-14 win over the Sharks last weekend, giving them momentum heading into this weekend's clash.

The Knights have named an unchanged line up from last week, with Caitlin Moran, Jacinta Carter, Jayde Herdegen, and Tamerah Leati all named on their extended bench.

Both teams are expected to bring their A-game and showcase their skills on the field in what promises to be an exciting and closely contested match.
