NRL fans urge Lomax to rethink Eels deal

Calls for Zac Lomax to backflip on Eels deal as NRL cub savaged over 'horrible' scenes

Fans are wondering if Zac Lomax will do a Lazarus and reconsider his move to the Eels, as the NRL world reels from the shocker that was Parramatta's clash with the Dolphins.

Lomax, the shining star for the Dragons once again, put on a dazzling show as they took down the Warriors in impressive fashion.

Back in his favorite spot at center, Lomax showed his class by scoring a classic try off a Ben Hunt bomb and rampaging for 184 meters from 21 runs.

The clamor is growing for his inclusion in the NSW State of Origin team on the wing, a position he has dominated in for the Dragons this season.

Many are scratching their heads about what triggered Lomax's decision to seek an exit from the Dragons.

He's hitting new heights in his career, seems content at the club, and is sacrificing a hefty paycheck to join the Eels.

The prevailing theory is that he craves to play center instead of on the wing, but Flanagan's masterstroke of deploying him on the flank has been the catalyst for his stunning revival and the calls for a Blues debut.

It's clear that there's more beneath the surface of Lomax's desire to depart from the Dragons.

The youngster is poised to link up with Parramatta next year on a cut-rate four-year contract, a far cry from his current deal with the Red V.
