
Sea Eagles prop Siua Taukeiaho has had surgery following a severe leg injury sustained at 4 Pines Park on Saturday night.
The two-time champion was hurt while scoring a try during his team's 32-4 win over the Broncos in Round 10.
Taukeiaho was taken by ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital and underwent surgery on Sunday morning to fix fractures in his tibia and fibula.
Now, he faces a lengthy recovery period away from the field.
This Saturday, the Sea Eagles are set to face the Wests Tigers during Magic Round in Brisbane, before their next home game against the Titans in Round 12.
