Manly Sea Eagles are determined to end their season on a high note in the Jersey Flegg Cup, despite experiencing a mixed campaign.
Currently placed seventh with 24 points, they are four points adrift of the fifth-placed Melbourne Storm, who hold the final playoff spot.
In order to have a slim chance of making the finals, the Sea Eagles must win their remaining two matches convincingly to improve their points differential, while also relying on the Storm losing both of their games.
However, the Sea Eagles will enter their next match with confidence, having recently secured a hard-fought 16-14 victory over the Penrith Panthers, who sit third in the standings.
Despite their strong performance, Manly faces a tough challenge in their last regular season game against the second-placed Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, which will be played away from home.
