The Canberra Raiders have claimed a thrilling Golden Point victory over the Gold Coast Titans, sending fans into a frenzy at GIO Stadium on Sunday night.

Just like a seasoned veteran returning to form, the Raiders showcased their defensive prowess and skills on the field after a lackluster performance in round five.

Fullback Chevy Stewart, making his debut appearance, energized the crowd with his performance.

In a game that felt like a classic arm wrestle between two heavyweight contenders, James Schiller broke the deadlock seventeen minutes in with the first try of the match, followed by Jamal Fogarty's successful conversion.

The Gold Coast Titans' defense put up a valiant effort, but Hudson Young's try extended the Raiders' lead to 12-0.

The Titans refused to back down, and Jaimin Joliffe managed to breach the Raiders' defense just before halftime, with Jayden Campbell converting successfully to bring the score to 12-6.

Both teams came out firing in the second half, with Harley Smith Shields crossing the try-line early on.

Unfortunately, the Raiders suffered a setback when Zac Hosking had to leave the field due to injury, but Ata Maritoa stepped in to fill the gap.

It was a back-and-forth battle of wills as both teams fought tooth and nail for every inch on the field.

In the end, it was the Raiders who stood tall, securing a hard-fought win that will go down in the annals of Rugby League history.
