The NZ Warriors have received confirmation that they will be facing the Panthers in the early game on Saturday, marking their first NRL finals match in five years.
The NRL has scheduled the match to kick-off at 4.05pm (6.05pm NZT) at Penrith's BlueBet Stadium.
This upcoming game will be a rematch of the last playoffs in 2018 when the Warriors and Panthers faced each other.
In that match, the Warriors started strong, scoring two tries through Issac Luke and David Fusitu'a to take a 12-0 lead within 13 minutes.
However, the Panthers managed to bounce back and secured a 27-12 victory, eliminating the Warriors from the playoffs.
Interestingly, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, who played as fullback for Penrith during that game, has since joined the NZ Warriors and has had an outstanding season, scoring 21 tries in 17 games.
