It was a tough battle for the Storm's Jersey Flegg side as they faced off against the Sharks at PointsBet Stadium in a Thursday night showdown.

Despite their best efforts, they couldn't quite match the strength of their opponents, falling short with a final score of 34-20 in Round 15.

The Under-21's put up a valiant fight until the very end, managing to give the Sharks a bit of a shake-up by scoring four tries during the match.

However, they ran out of time in their quest to catch up on the scoreboard, leaving them just shy of a comeback victory.

The Storm came charging out of the gates, with K-CI Newton-Whare notching a try in the 8th minute to give them an early advantage.

But the Sharks quickly capitalized on a Storm error, with five-eighth Taj Ford darting through the defense in the 19th minute to even the score.

From there, the Sharks took control of the game, scoring the next five tries to surge ahead to a commanding 34-6 lead.

Despite their best efforts, the Storm couldn't quite bridge the gap and came up short in their Round 15 matchup.
