Jets prove too good for the Eels at packed Henson

The Newtown Jets put on a showstopping performance against the Parramatta Eels at a jam-packed Henson Park, proving too good for their rivals.

The Round 21 action kicked off with a bang as the Warriors took on the Western Suburbs Magpies at Go Media Stadium in Auckland, setting the stage for a weekend filled with rugby league excitement.

Saturday's lineup featured three thrilling matches, all live-streamed on NSWRL TV.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs clashed with the North Sydney Bears at 12pm, while the St George Dragons battled the Penrith Panthers in an epic showdown also starting at 12pm.

The day culminated with the Newtown Jets facing off against the Parramatta Eels at 3pm, delivering an electrifying finish to the day's festivities.

Sunday's double header showcased the Sydney Roosters taking on the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles at 3pm, followed by the Canberra Raiders locking horns with the South Sydney Rabbitohs at 3:50pm, bringing an action-packed close to the round.

The Warriors, sitting third on the ladder, came out swinging against the underdog Magpies, scoring early with a sensational try from Sio Kali in the fourth minute.

Winger Motu Pasikala added to the lead with another try in the 23rd minute, showcasing their skill and determination on the field.

Despite the Magpies' efforts to slow down the game with injury stoppages, they fought back to keep the locals on their toes, turning the match into a thrilling battle of wills.
