Gold Coast Titans forward Jaimin Jolliffe has finalized a three-year agreement with the Huddersfield Giants in the Super League.
Although Jolliffe is set to miss the entirety of 2026 due to an ACL injury he sustained in January, he has secured a multi-year contract in the Northern Hemisphere.
The Ireland international has made over 100 NRL appearances for the Titans since launching his NRL career in 2020, and is recognized for his strong defensive work ethic.
Giants coach Jim Lenihan, who took on the role of interim head coach at the Titans in 2023, developed a solid rapport with Jolliffe, contributing to his recruitment for the Giants' forward pack.
"We've got Jimmy for next year and this is a real good addition for us, he's played a lot of first grade for the Titans, he adds to the middles and what we're trying to do here at the Giants," a Huddersfield statement read.
"He adds to us with leadership on and off the field, the forwards are young meaning we have a younger pack, and to add Jimmy to that at 30 with all of his experience in the NRL is great, he had opportunities to stay over there but wanted a change and we feel its a perfect fit for us."
During his tenure with the Titans, Jolliffe maintained his role as a reliable middle player, averaging 17 games over six seasons in the NRL, but his preseason knee injury prevented him from showcasing his skills under new coach Josh Hannay.
On the international stage, Jolliffe represented Ireland in two matches during the group stages of the Rugby League World Cup in 2022, achieving a victory over Jamaica and a defeat against Lebanon.
He averaged 158 running metres in those games, demonstrating a 97.1% tackle efficiency throughout the tournament.
