In a thrilling weekend of junior reps action, the Raiders SG Ball and Tarsha Gale teams showcased their prowess and emerged victorious for the first time this season.

According to the updates on raiders.com.au, it was the SG Ball side that kicked off the weekend with an impressive 34-18 triumph over the Sharks at Pointsbet Stadium.

Right from the start, the Raiders showed their dominance, storming to an 18-0 lead within just 23 minutes.

Tries by Izayah Petricevich, Ethan Alaia, and Atini Tuialii, expertly converted by Brayden Darmody, propelled the Raiders forward.

However, the Sharks managed to salvage some pride before half-time, narrowing the margin to 18-6.

Yet, the Raiders were not to be deterred, mounting a strong comeback in the second half with two more tries, extending their lead to a formidable 30-6.

Despite a valiant effort from the home team, it was Mahonri Tiotala of the Raiders who had the final say, scoring in the dying minutes of the match.

The final scoreline stood at an impressive 34-18 in favor of the Raiders, signaling a promising turning point in their season.
