Latrell Mitchell, the star fullback for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, has found himself in hot water after a late hit on Canterbury Bulldogs' winger Josh Addo-Carr during their Good Friday clash.

Mitchell, known for his tough defense on the field, arrived just in time to prevent Addo-Carr from scoring a try, but unfortunately, his hip made contact with the winger's head, causing him to be ruled out of the game due to concussion symptoms.

Despite not receiving a penalty or being placed on report during the game, Mitchell has now been slapped with a Grade 1 dangerous contact charge by the NRL's match review committee.

This news comes as a blow to the Rabbitohs, who were hoping to maintain their winning streak.

Luckily for Mitchell, he will escape with just a fine for his actions, allowing him to continue to lead the Rabbitohs from the front.

As they say in the world of Rugby League, it's all part of the rough and tumble of the game.

Let's hope Mitchell can learn from this incident and come back stronger in the next match.
