In Round 7 of the NSW Cup, the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles faced off against the Warriors but fell short despite Josh Feledy's impressive hat-trick.
The Sea Eagles showed significant improvement after a tough loss to the Dragons the previous week.
However, this marked Manly's fifth straight defeat, with their only victory coming in the opening round.
The match began positively for Manly as full-back Blake Metcalf set up Feledy for an early try, giving them a 6-0 lead shortly after kickoff.
Feledy nearly scored again minutes later but was pushed into touch after winger Navren Willett successfully defended a Joey Walsh kick.
The Warriors equalized quickly with a contentious try by Haizyn Mellars, making it 6-all.
Shortly after, Warriors hooker Makaia Tafua's clever dummy led to a 12-6 advantage for his team.
Feledy responded by scoring his second try from a Walsh grubber, narrowing the gap to 12-10 after 24 minutes.
