The Canberra Raiders have secured Jamal Fogarty's future with the team, giving him the opportunity to be the senior half for the first time.
He is preparing to lead the team and help develop the next generation of playmakers.
With the departure of star playmaker Jack Wighton and backup half Matt Frawley, Fogarty will be working beside a less experienced halves partner.
Ethan Strange, Simi Sasagi, and Kaeo Weekes are set to compete for the vacant No.6 jersey, with Fogarty taking on a new senior role after spending most of his 80 games alongside more experienced halves partners.
This new responsibility will allow him to showcase his leadership skills and guide the young players as they navigate their NRL careers.
