Queensland's Defense Holds Strong in Origin One

Origin to the Max: Maroons newbie does his family proud

In a tense moment during Origin One, Max Plath and the Maroons rallied together as NSW pushed hard at the Queensland goal-line.

Making a remarkable debut, Plath showcased his skills, playing for 63 minutes at lock and completing an impressive 44 tackles with only one miss.

His performance was a proud moment for his father, John, who once celebrated four premiership victories.

Interestingly, John was on the verge of being selected for the Queensland team in 1994 but did not make the cut.
