Farnworth among six NRL stars in England squad

The latest scoop from the folks at dolphinsnrl.com.au reveals that Farnworth is one of six NRL stars who have been selected for the England squad to gear up for a showdown against Samoa.

In a twist of fate, injured Sydney Roosters player Victor Radley, who sustained a nasty injury in the recent clash against the Raiders, has still managed to secure his spot in the squad.

The tough nut avoided going under the knife and is aiming to make a heroic comeback later in the finals, thanks to his team's guaranteed top four finish.

Joining Radley in the squad are his Roosters teammate Dom Young, the sharp Dolphins centre Herbie Farnworth, Knights' powerhouse Kai Pearce-Paul, Rabbitohs' hard-hitting Tom Burgess, and Raiders' reliable lock Morgan Smithies.

These lads all previously represented England in the heart-wrenching World Cup semi-final loss to Samoa.

Smithies, in particular, showed his mettle in his Test debut during last year's dominant win over France at Warrington's Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Adding to the mix is John Bateman, who recently made a mid-season move to Warrington from the Wests Tigers.

The squad is shaping up nicely with a blend of experience, resilience, and raw talent, ready to take on the challenge ahead.

Aussie fans are sure to be glued to their screens as these warriors prepare to do battle on the field.
