The Wests Tigers have announced that standout five-eighth Jarome Luai will depart the club following the conclusion of the current season.
Luai joined the Tigers from Penrith, where he celebrated four premiership victories, and is set to begin his journey with them in 2025.
Initially tied to the Tigers until 2027, both parties have come to an agreement for Luai to exit after he exercised a release clause contained in his contract.
In 2028, Luai is set to play for the PNG Chiefs in their inaugural NRL season, having already signed on as the expansion club's most notable recruit earlier this year.
