G'day footy fans,
In some unfortunate news for the Cowboys, two of their players have found themselves in hot water with the Match Review Committee.
Aloiai has copped a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact charge for a tackle on Shaun Johnson in the dying minutes of their game against the Warriors.
The tackle led to a successful penalty conversion attempt that leveled the scores.
He's facing a one-game suspension with an early guilty plea.
Meanwhile, Katoa has been slapped with a Grade 2 High Tackle - Careless charge for his hit on Souths skipper Cameron Murray just before half-time.
Murray was unable to continue playing due to failing his HIA.
The Sharks winger is also looking at missing a match with an early guilty plea.
To add to the drama, three other players have been charged following the weekend's Round 6 games and will be receiving fines if they take the early guilty plea.
Stay tuned for more updates as the season continues to heat up.
Yours in footy,
