Blues ready to tackle crowd noise, earn cheers loud

No fear: Inside Blues' plan to silence Queensland crowd

NSW Blues forward Liam Martin has expressed confidence in his team's ability to handle the challenging atmosphere at Suncorp Stadium as they aim for consecutive wins there for the first time in nearly three decades.

As reported by nrl.com.au, thirteen players from last year's victorious squad are returning for the series opener, with only Max King making his debut in the NSW lineup.

Despite their recent success, the Blues have faced difficulties in Brisbane, with Queensland winning six of the last eight matches at Suncorp Stadium.

Additionally, NSW has not managed to secure back-to-back wins in the venue since the 1997-98 season.

Martin's experience includes his Origin debut in front of a packed crowd at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in 2021, followed by his first game at Suncorp shortly after.
