Centre Moala Taufa-Graham, a rising star from Auckland, was the standout player for the New Zealand Warriors' NSW Cup side this season, racking up an impressive 14 tries and an average of 148 metres per game.

His stellar performance earned him not one, but two prestigious awards at the club's annual awards night in Auckland on Sunday.

Despite only having one brief appearance for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL this year, Taufa-Graham made a significant impact in his three NRL games for the Warriors.

Known for his speed and agility on the field, the 22-year-old was not only named the overall NSW Cup player of the year, but also received the coveted players' player of the year award, as voted by his teammates.

Among the other contenders for the top honours were captain Kalani Going, fullback Taine Tuaupiki, and second rower Leka Halasima, who all had impressive seasons of their own.

However, Taufa-Graham's exceptional performance and dedication to the team ultimately earned him the recognition he deserved.

Young Eddie Ieremia, a versatile player who can slot into multiple positions on the field, was recognized for his commitment and selflessness as he was named the NSW Cup clubman of the year.

His ability to consistently show up for his team in all 25 games, including the recent playoff loss to Penrith, set him apart from other contenders for the award.

In the tough world of Rugby League, where every player strives to be their best on and off the field, Taufa-Graham and Ieremia have proven themselves to be true assets to the Warriors' squad, embodying the never-say-die attitude that defines the spirit of the game.
