Sea Eagles Face Eels in ANZAC Round Showdown

Addo-Carr scored the first of his team's six tries vs the Bulldogs in Round 7

The Sea Eagles are set to face the Eels in ANZAC Round this Sunday at a bustling 4 Pines Park.

Manly has bounced back from a rough start in 2026, securing victories against the Dolphins, Dragons, and Cowboys to rise to sixth place on the ladder as Round 8 approaches.

The Eels will arrive in the Northern Beaches following a crucial win over the Bulldogs, snapping a three-match losing streak that included a substantial 52-10 defeat to the Titans.

Fans from the Eels' 1986 squad celebrated their victory over the Dogs, marking 40 years since their last title.

Meanwhile, Sunday's match will see Manly legends in attendance, commemorating 50 years since the Sea Eagles triumphed over the Eels in the 1976 Grand Final.

Notable players from that victorious team will greet the crowd prior to the official ANZAC Ceremony.

Historically, the Sea Eagles boast a strong record against the Eels, winning 59% of their encounters since 1947 and 69% of their 71 matches at Brookvale.

Last season, each team claimed one victory, with Manly winning by 14 points in March before falling to a 20-point defeat at CommBank.
