The Sydney Roosters announced that Sam Walker had successful surgery on Sunday after suffering a syndesmosis injury the previous night.
While News Corp reported on Sunday that Walker's surgery would sideline him for the remainder of the 2026 season, the Roosters have not completely dismissed the possibility of their star halfback returning before the year's end.
