South Sydney plans to avoid calling the Sydney Roosters the "visiting team" this Friday, with strategies in place to subtly emphasize that Allianz Stadium is now the home of the Rabbitohs.
The club will start discussions with Venues NSW to secure appropriate Rabbitohs signage outside the Moore Park venue, especially since they will have more home games in what the Roosters consider their territory in upcoming NRL seasons.
Chairman Nick Pappas expressed his anger earlier this season when the Roosters neglected to even mention the Rabbitohs on the scoreboard.
Additionally, Roosters chairman Nick Politis was seen confronting Pappas after Souths celebrated their No.1 ticket-holder, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, with fans during the moment when Alex Johnston surpassed Ken Irvine's long-held try-scoring record.
