Ivana Lolesio is inspired by her mentor Evania Isa'ako as she prepares for the Origin stage, despite never having played alongside her.
Isa'ako, who transitioned from rugby sevens to the NRLW in 2020, made her debut with the Warriors and competed in her first State of Origin match in 2022.
Like Lolesio, Isa'ako played centre during her debut, marking a significant milestone in both of their careers.
Currently training with the Titans, Isa'ako took a break last year for family reasons, welcoming her daughter Letti in October.
Now back at pre-season training on the Gold Coast, she expresses pride in seeing Lolesio shine in the Origin arena.
