Brailey's NRL Streak Ends Due to HIA

Pilot Medical Update – Brailey-McInnes

Blayke Brailey's impressive run of 139 consecutive NRL games has ended after failing a head injury assessment last weekend against Souths.

During the Sharks' loss to the Rabbitohs, Brailey exited the field and, due to the failed HIA under NRL concussion protocols, he now faces an 11-day standdown.

Fortunately, Brailey showed no immediate symptoms post-incident, and the Sharks are optimistic he will recover in time for their next match, which is against the Sea Eagles in round 13.

In another update from Saturday's match at Accor Stadium, Cam McInnes suffered a lateral ankle sprain but managed to complete the game.

However, after evaluation, McInnes has been ruled out for Friday's match at Suncorp and is expected to return following the Sharks' round 12 bye.

On a positive note, Ronaldo Mulitalo is set to make his comeback less than eight months after tearing his ACL while playing for New Zealand.

Mulitalo's quick recovery reflects his dedication to rehabilitation and the support of the Sharks medical team.

Also scheduled to play on Friday is Jesse Ramien, who returns after a knee injury sustained in round five against the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Jayden Berrell will take Brailey's spot, and Jess Colquhoun rejoins the starting lineup at lock.
