The MRC has issued three suspensions and five fines following the weekend's matches, with Newcastle and Canterbury experiencing the most significant repercussions.
Dominic Young, a winger for the Knights, is set for a one-match suspension after being charged with a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact offence for his tackle on Manly's Tolutau Koula.
During Saturday's game, Young was sin-binned for the incident, which resulted in Koula leaving the field due to a hip-drop tackle. Subsequent concerns indicated Koula might have a syndesmosis injury.
If Young accepts an early guilty plea, he will serve a one-match ban; however, challenging the charge could lead to a two-match suspension if he is found guilty.
The Knights also dealt with another setback, as Tyson Frizell was charged with Grade 2 Dangerous Contact over his involvement with Manly fullback Tom Trbojevic.
Though Trbojevic finished the match, Frizell faces a similar penalty to Young, with a one-match suspension possible for an early guilty plea, which could stretch to two matches if disputed unsuccessfully.
Bulldogs forward Jonathan Sua is the third player suspended after being charged with Grade 2 Dangerous Contact concerning Dragons centre Moses Suli.
Sua, like the others, can face a one-match suspension with an early guilty plea or a longer ban if he contests the charge unsuccessfully.
Additionally, the MRC has fined four players, which includes another forward from the Knights.
