Newcastle Knights Pathways Players Shine in State of Origin Under 19 Selections

In a display of talent and grit, several rising stars from the nib Newcastle Knights pathways program have been chosen to don the blue jersey for NSW in the upcoming Under 19's State of Origin clashes.

Jermaine McEwen will be a force to reckon with in the second row, while Connor Votano and Cody Hopwood have also earned their spot in the extended squad.

On the women's side, Lilly-Ann White, Evah McEwen, and Evie Jones are set to show their skills on the big stage for NSW.

The battles are set to take place at the iconic Leichardt Oval on Thursday 20 June, where history and rivalry will collide on the field.

The women's match will kick off at 5.45pm, followed by the men's clash at 7.45pm.

Fans can catch all the action on Fox League via Fox Sports and 9Now.

Additionally, the women's match will be broadcast on 9Gem, while the men's match will be showcased on Channel Nine.
