Gap Opens at Top as Four Players Shine: Zero Tackle's NRL MVP, Round 3

In an impressive display during the Warriors' victory against the Newcastle Knights, one player has accumulated 56 votes out of a possible 60 from the first three rounds, securing his position at the top of the leaderboard.

This player leads Penrith Panthers' fullback Dylan Edwards, who, despite a lackluster 2025 season, has also begun the current season strongly, accumulating 18 votes this past weekend.

Edwards trails the leader by five votes, while a group of players, including Thomas Jenkins, Jackson Ford, and Sua Fa'alogo, follows, with a gap of 12 votes from the frontrunners.

Round 3 saw four players achieve perfect scores: Connor Tracey of the Canterbury Bulldogs, Jye Gray from the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Tallyn Da Silva of the Parramatta Eels, and Scott Drinkwater of the North Queensland Cowboys, who had been uncertain about participating against the Gold Coast Titans.

In other matchups, both Dylan Edwards and Thomas Jenkins of Penrith, along with Melbourne Storm's Joe Chan, Brisbane Broncos' Jordan Riki, and Warriors' Boyd and Jackson Ford, received acknowledgment as the best players on the field from at least one judge.

Here is the breakdown of the Round 3 votes.
