Tigers Roar: New Signings on the Horizon

Wests Tigers are undergoing a significant roster overhaul as CEO Shane Richardson confirms new signings ahead of the next season.

Acknowledging the anticipated departure of Lachlan Galvin at the end of 2026, Richardson has stated, "the club have signed players from rival teams" as part of their rebuild strategy.

Since stepping in for former CEOs Justin Pascoe and Lee Hagipantelis, Richardson has made strides to revamp the team after facing three consecutive wooden spoons in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

The organization has already welcomed players such as Jack Bird, Jeral Skelton, Royce Hunt, Sunia Turuva, and Terrell May.

In a discussion on James Graham's "The Bye Round," Richardson revealed that more new signings will be announced within the next two to three weeks, specifically targeting players currently not on the roster.

As of now, the club has "eight spots left on their Top 30 roster for next season," with Tony Sukkar holding an option in his contract.
