Samu set for comeback in Sea Eagles showdown
The Gold Coast Titans have announced that speedster Phil Samu is all set to bounce back from his syndesmosis injury and take his place as the fullback in the Round 7 clash against the Manly Sea Eagles at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday night.
With five appearances already under his belt this season, Samu is no stranger to the fullback position.
His return will see AJ Brimson remain in the halves alongside Kieran Foran, with the duo nearly securing a win against the Raiders in a thrilling golden-point finish last weekend.
Taking the place of Jayden Campbell, who suffered a knee injury during the last game, Samu's inclusion is the only change to the lineup for this weekend's match.
Looking to claim their third consecutive victory against Des Hasler's side, the Titans will draw on their recent successes against the Sea Eagles in 2022 and 2023, including their previous win at Robina.
The game kicks off at 5.30pm on Saturday at Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast.
Time to show some true blue Aussie spirit and cheer on your team!
