Gold Coast and the Sydney Roosters have secured their leading positions in the NRLW standings following impressive wins.
On Sunday at the Gold Coast, Teagan Levi from the Titans and Tamika Upton from Brisbane engaged in an intense duel, with the Titans emerging victorious 28-20, maintaining their second place with a 7-1 record.
At Allianz Stadium, the Roosters celebrated an unblemished 8-0 record after delivering a record-breaking 66-8 victory against the Warriors.
Entering their match against the Titans at Cbus Super Stadium, the Broncos found themselves in a rare fifth position after suffering back-to-back defeats to the Roosters and Canberra.
Things became challenging for the defending champions when Levi scored from dummy-half within seven minutes, showcasing talent that has caught the attention of top names in the sport.
"First year in the NRLW and she's fast becoming the best player in the game," remarked Billy Slater during commentary.
"Obviously challenged by the number one in the opposite team today, Tamika Upton, but Teagan Levi, she can beat you in so many different ways. She's got a great pass... and then she uses another strength of hers, and that's her running game. She's a real weapon."
Jaime Chapman followed with another score, and Georgia Grey, daughter of former Wallaby Nathan Grey, added a try despite a high tackle from Upton, who was put on report.
After Lauren Brown's missed conversion, Gold Coast was awarded a penalty. Kerri Johnson responded for the Broncos, pulling them to 14-4 by halftime.
Johnson scored shortly after the break, and Upton leveled the game three minutes later. Brown then kicked a penalty goal, and a remarkable individual try from Levi was overshadowed by a hip drop tackle from Shannon Mato, resulting in Mato's sin binning.
In the final ten minutes, Grey and Chelsea Lenarduzzi exchanged tries, ensuring Gold Coast's victory.
In the day's second match, Tarryn Aiken and Jess Sergis starred as the Roosters utterly dominated the Warriors, winning 12 tries to 2, setting new records for points and margin.
The Tricolours opened the scoring with tries from Keeley Nizza, Olivia Kernick, Brydie Parker, and Sergis, while Stacey Waaka managed a stunning try for the Warriors, making it 22-4 at halftime.
Parker scored two more in the second half, bringing her total to eight in three games; Nizza, Kernick, Isabelle Kelly, and Jayme Fressard also completed doubles.
Despite the defeat, the Warriors remain sixth and in contention for a spot in the six-team finals.
In another Sunday game, Parramatta edged out Cronulla 42-16, striving to escape the lower ranks.
