The Canberra Raiders are facing a rocky start to their NRL season, with reports emerging of two players getting into a bit of a scuffle at a hotel in Las Vegas.
While the names of the players involved have not been released yet, it seems that the club is taking the matter seriously and will be disciplining them accordingly.
It remains to be seen whether these players will miss out on the opening match against the New Zealand Warriors at Allegiant Stadium next Sunday.
The Raiders had brought a squad of 25 players to the United States, so they do have some flexibility to make changes if needed.
This off-field drama is certainly not the ideal way to kick off the season for the Raiders.
Let's hope they can put this behind them and focus on getting their game plan locked in before they hit the field.
Time will tell how this incident will impact the team's performance on the pitch.
