The Canberra Raiders NRLW representatives recently embarked on a trip to New Zealand to conduct a series of skills clinics with the support of the Raiders Foundation.
The group, including NRLW coach Darrin Borthwick, players Simaima Taufa, Zahara Temara, and Grace Kemp, and Raiders Board Member Katrina Fanning, traveled to Auckland, Hamilton, and Rotorua to run the clinics and engage in talent identification.
In addition to the clinics, the contingent also attended the Kiwi Ferns Test Match against Tonga to support three Raiders NRLW players in the New Zealand squad - Apii Nicholls, Ash Quinlan, and Cheyelle Robins-Reti.
Coach Borthwick expressed that the trip was a success and that they gained valuable experiences from the trip.
The initiative was a part of the Raiders' efforts to expand their outreach and promote the sport of rugby league.
