The NRL season is in the final stretch, with just two rounds to go before the knockout rounds kick off.

The race for spots on the ladder is heating up, with some huge games on the horizon that will determine the ultimate fate of each team.

As reported by the footy experts over at zerotackle.com, here's how the final two rounds are set to unfold, with every team's best and worst-case scenarios hanging in the balance.

For these calculations, a maximum 40-point for and against differential per game has been taken into account.

Sitting pretty in first place are the boys with 18 wins and 4 losses, racking up an impressive 42 points with a +213 points difference.

Their run home includes a showdown with the North Queensland Cowboys on the road, followed by a clash with the Brisbane Broncos away from home.
