Lehi Hopoate Faces Suspension After Referee Contact

Judiciary: Magic Round vs Wests Tigers

Lehi Hopoate, the Manly winger, could face suspension after recent actions during the Magic Round.

He has received a Grade 2 Contrary Conduct charge for colliding with the referee while pursuing a high kick in the 46-18 win against the Wests Tigers.

Hopoate's potential penalty includes a one-match ban if he enters an early guilty plea, or two matches if the judiciary rules against him.

If he serves a one-match suspension, he will miss the upcoming Round 12 match against the Titans at 4 Pines Park.
