Jasmin Huriwai, a New Zealand-born rugby union international, has signed with the NZ Warriors for the 2026 NRLW season.
The 32-year-old halfback from Auckland relocated to Australia early in life and has been part of the Brumbies' Super Rugby roster for the last three years.
Since her debut in 2023, Huriwai has represented the Wallaroos in six Test matches.
Ron Griffiths, the head coach of the NZ Warriors NRLW, expressed admiration for Huriwai's dedication in securing her contract.
For her, transitioning from rugby union to rugby league was an easy decision.
Huriwai expressed her excitement, stating that she was overwhelmed upon receiving the contract offer.
