The Gold Coast Titans have announced that prop Klese Haas will remain with the club, having signed a contract extension that lasts until the end of 2029.
Previously secured until 2027, Haas, who is the brother of Payne Haas, has now committed to an additional two years on the Gold Coast, ensuring he will play beyond the 100-game mark.
Initially possessing a player option for 2027, Haas appears to have exercised that option, prompting the Titans to confirm the subsequent two-year extension.
There was speculation he might leverage his position to join his brother at the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2027, but Haas expressed strong loyalty to the Titans.
"Living on the Gold Coast basically my whole life, it means the world to me and my family to lock in a further two years here," the forward stated, reinforcing his commitment to the team.
"Coming out of school, I got a six-week train-and-trial opportunity to work hard and earn a full-time NRL contract, and now I'm eager to stay and reap the rewards with all of us younger boys that are coming through together."
Haas, who debuted with the Titans in 2022, has so far played 73 matches and has been a vital contributor to the squad over the past four years.
While he hasn't yet secured a permanent starting role like his brother at the Brisbane Broncos, where he ranks among the elite forwards, Haas has participated frequently in games.
The 24-year-old, eligible to represent Australia and Samoa, previously played two Tests for the Philippines prior to his NRL debut. Coach Josh Hannay praised him as a testament to the success of the club's pathways system.
