Broncos Sign Promising Talent De Courcey

Wilson De Courcey alongside Knights teammates and Broncos coach Michael Maguire.

In a season marked by challenges, the Brisbane Broncos are setting their sights on rebuilding for 2027.

With the departures of key players such as Grant Anderson, Jesse Arthars, and Gehamat Shibasaki, the team is now seeking to strengthen their outside backs.

To address this need, they have signed veteran Dane Gagai, but it is the addition of promising young talent De Courcey that may prove most advantageous.

The Newcastle Knights player has demonstrated impressive skills in the NSW Cup and was a standout during the finals despite his team's loss to the Panthers.

De Courcey's performance showcased his potential, making three line-breaks, gaining 159 running metres, scoring a try, and assisting on another.

Notably, he was one of only two Knights players who made no missed tackles during the match.

Brisbane will welcome him on a two-year deal, hoping his contributions will help revitalize their performance in the upcoming season.
