The upcoming off-season is poised to bring significant changes for South Sydney, with a staggering 18 players eligible to negotiate with other clubs starting November 1.

This unprecedented turnover prompts considerations of critical decisions, particularly regarding vital team members. Key players who may attract attention from rival clubs include Campbell Graham, David Fifita, and Latrell Mitchell.

Commenting on the situation, sports analyst Crawley stated, "I think Souths are at a stage now where some tough decisions will be made."

Crawley singled out a few players he believes should be deemed "non-negotiable," emphasizing Mitchell's essential role. "I can't see Latrell going to another club and people will say well, he's not earning his value and often injuries and everything else has held him back," he explained.

Further, Crawley highlighted the coaching acumen of Bennett, stating, "He knows what wins football games and this bloke can win football games."

These developments suggest a critical juncture for South Sydney as they weigh their options and plan for the future, where retaining top talent will be crucial for success.
