The Canberra Raiders have announced the signing of Jordyn Preston for the 2025 NRLW season.

Preston, a rising star in women's rugby league, made her NRLW debut with the St George-Illawarra Dragons in 2024 and was named the Illawarra Steelers Player of the Year that same year.

She was also part of the Steelers' championship-winning team in the Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership.

Preston's signing comes after Claudia Finau was sidelined for the season due to an ACL injury, making her the final addition to the Raiders' Top 24 squad for 2025.

Raiders NRLW coach Darrin Borthwick expressed his excitement about having Preston on board for the upcoming season, stating, "Jordyn is a talented and dedicated player who will bring valuable skills and a winning mentality to the team."

Preston herself is thrilled about the opportunity to join the Raiders and is looking forward to making an impact on the field.

She said, "I am incredibly grateful for this chance to continue my NRLW career with the Canberra Raiders.

I am determined to give my all and contribute to the team's success in the 2025 season."

The young and dynamic player is set to bring her unique talents to the Raiders NRLW team, adding depth and versatility to their roster.

With her impressive track record and commitment to the sport, Preston is poised to make a significant contribution to the team's performance in the upcoming season.

By signing with the Raiders, Preston has taken a significant step forward in her professional rugby league career, joining a respected organization with a strong commitment to fostering women's rugby league talent.

Her signing is not only a reflection of her own hard work and dedication but also of the growing opportunities and recognition for women in the sport.

As she prepares to embark on this new chapter with the Raiders, Preston is ready to showcase her skills and make a name for herself in the NRLW league.
