New Zealand's unbeaten WXV Global Series campaign will face its sternest test against England at Twickenham this Sunday.
The Black Ferns reached the fixture after overwhelming Scotland 66-14 on Sunday, scoring 10 tries.
Coach Whitney Hansen was pleased that several young players gained Test experience after changes to the side that defeated France the previous weekend.
However, increased depth has made selection difficult, especially among the forwards.
"It's not a matter of who's good enough anymore, it's actually who's the right person at the right time to do the job for us in that game," Hansen said.
She added, "And the worst part about that is we still don't have three decisions done when we come back in the morning."
England drew with Canada in its previous match, but Hansen believes that result could strengthen the Red Roses.
"I think it probably makes them tougher to beat," Hansen said. "They're a bit hungry after a draw or a loss, aren't they?"
She also expects Twickenham's crowd to test New Zealand's mental performance.
"But 12,000 sounds a bit more like 40, so I think that'll be a big thing to factor in just in terms of mental performance. But they're ready for that."
Kick-off is scheduled for 3am New Zealand time.
