Wigan Warriors emerged victorious with a commanding 36-14 win over Castleford Tigers, keeping pace at the top of the Super League ladder.

Liam Marshall and Ryan Hampshire were the stand-out performers, each scoring twice to lead the Warriors to victory.

The match kicked off with Bevan French notching the first points just seven minutes in, setting the tone for Wigan's dominance.

However, Castleford's Louis Senior made an impressive debut by intercepting a pass and sprinting 80 meters to score and level the playing field.

Marshall's first try reclaimed the lead for Wigan, setting the stage for Hampshire to shine with two quick-fire tries in the early stages of the second half.

Marshall added another try in the corner, while Abbas Miski also crossed the line for the Warriors.

Despite a late consolation try from Rowan Milnes for Cas, Wigan's lead was insurmountable.

This victory marked Wigan's sixth win of the season, positioning them just behind league leaders St Helens on points difference but with a game in hand.

The Warriors showcased their dominance in the second half, demonstrating their prowess and determination to stay at the top of the Super League ladder.
