In a recent incident that caused quite the stir, the Wests Tigers have taken action and engaged in a conversation with their star five-eighth, Adam Doueihi, regarding his now-deleted controversial LGBTQ social media comment.

As reported by news.com.au, it appears that Doueihi won't face any additional disciplinary measures from either the Wests Tigers or the NRL.

Following the offensive social media post, Doueihi was met with a "please explain" from the club, in his attempt to elucidate the rationale behind his comment.

The incident occurred when the 25-year-old expressed his disapproval by referring to the post as "embarrassing," under an English Premier League graphic that sought to educate fans about LGBTQ+ inclusion.

Despite garnering thousands of likes, Doueihi decided to ultimately remove the comment.

Now, with the issue addressed, the Wests Tigers can hopefully refocus on their upcoming matches, leaving this controversial event in the past.
