Dearden's partner lives in Sydney, a circumstance that has fuelled media speculation about whether the North Queensland Cowboys star could move to New South Wales.
His contract with the Cowboys runs through the 2029 season, and management says he will stay in Townsville until it ends.
His agent told the Sydney Morning Herald that Dearden has no plans to leave the club, where he has spent the past six seasons.
