Titans flip the script on ownership after seven years

The Gold Coast Titans have announced a significant change in ownership, with the Frizelle family, comprising Rebecca and Brett, now taking full control of the club.

This decision marks the end of a seven-year partnership with Darryl and Joanne Kelly, who initially acquired the club's license from the NRL in December 2017.

The Kellys have expressed their gratitude towards their involvement with the Titans, emphasizing the unique experience of managing a team straddling the New South Wales-Queensland border.

"It has been a privilege to be involved in helping keep an NRL team here in the unique position of operating both sides of the New South Wales-Queensland border," Darryl Kelly stated in a club announcement.

He also highlighted the importance of watching young players, both male and female, proudly represent their families and communities on various competitive platforms.

He noted, "Rugby league in particular operates on the front lines of many of the issues impacting young people today."
