Titans Boss Addresses Recent Club Controversies

The Gold Coast Titans have been in the spotlight recently, but unfortunately, it's not for positive reasons.

Criticism has arisen over the Titans' interest in Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy, especially after they had secured Josh Hannay for the coaching role. This sentiment was echoed by Brisbane Broncos legend Corey Parker.

Titans majority owner Rebecca Frizelle responded to Parker's comments, where he alleged that Hannay was "blindsided" by the Titans' pursuit of Bellamy.

In a discussion on SEN Radio, Parker suggested that Hannay might have felt "backstabbed" after news broke that the Titans had approached Bellamy regarding a possible coaching position.

However, Frizelle took the opportunity to refute these claims. She appeared on Parker's show to clarify the situation.

"Corey, I'd like to clear this up now because it did bother me that you would think we'd be dishonest or not transparent with the incoming coach," Frizelle stated. "We are straight shooters and we will always be transparent."
