The Gold Coast Titans were dealt another blow as Tino Fa'asuamaleaui limped off the field with a suspected knee injury in their disappointing defeat to the Canterbury Bulldogs.
Right from kick-off, the Titans were on the back foot, struggling to make a mark in both attack and defence, committing simple errors and turning over possession too easily.
With Jayden Campbell and David Fifta already sidelined, Fa'asuamaleaui's departure further weakens the pack and leaves the Titans with a gaping hole in their forward line.
The Titans skipper had to be helped off in the 65th minute, with concerns rising over the severity of his injury.
"Potentially a huge blow for the Titans...their skipper and star forward at the Gold Coast, taken off with what seemed to be a serious knee issue," remarked Matt Russell on Fox League.
This setback will surely test the Titans' depth and resilience as they look to bounce back from this setback on the rugby league battlefield.
