Hagipantelis stated, "There has been speculation in the media regarding Michael Cheika's potential involvement with the club, particularly in relation to the head of football role.

I want to make it clear that at this stage, we have not made any decisions or commitments regarding this position."
He continued, "We are currently undergoing an external review of the operations, and until we receive the findings and recommendations from that review, we will not be making any appointments."
Hagipantelis also addressed the interest in Mark O'Neill, saying, "Mark is a highly respected figure in the rugby league community, and his experience and knowledge would be invaluable to the club.

However, we will not be rushing into any decisions until we have all the necessary information."
Regarding the possibility of Cheika joining the Tigers, Hagipantelis stated, "While Michael Cheika is a highly regarded coach, there have been no formal discussions or negotiations with him regarding any role at the club.

Any reports suggesting otherwise are simply speculation and should not be taken as fact."
He concluded, "the focus right now is on the external review and ensuring that we have the right structures and personnel in place to support the team.

Once we have the results of the review, we will assess all potential candidates for the head of football role."
