NRL admits Tigers got a raw deal against Panthers as head honcho Graham Annesley steps up to address some dodgy calls from round 7.

Annesley fesses up that Brad Schneider should have been sent to the sin bin in the Panthers' clash with the Wests Tigers, and hints that James Tedesco may have gotten away with a sneaky trip on Ryan Papenhuyzen.

Fans and pundits were left scratching their heads on Saturday when the Tigers were only awarded a penalty, despite Schneider committing a clear-cut professional foul.

Picture this: Justin Olam racing down the field in support of Junior Tupou after a break, when suddenly Schneider swoops in for a cheeky ankle tap before Olam can get the ball.

Olam was in the perfect spot to receive the pass from Tupou and make a break for it, but Schneider's illegal move threw a spanner in the works.

To everyone's surprise, the ref and the video ref turned a blind eye to the foul play, letting Schneider off the hook.

At the time, the Tigers were leading 6-0 and looking strong, but who knows what could have gone down if they had the chance to take on 12 men? Unfortunately, Schneider's lucky break shifted the momentum in favor of the Panthers, who ended up on top with a 22-6 victory.

Annesley's admission has stirred up plenty of chatter in the rugby league world, with fans and experts alike calling foul play on the dodgy calls that marred the game.
