Warrington player Williams is eager for the upcoming Challenge Cup final, describing the past weeks as "the longest six or seven weeks of my life" while he worked on recovering from an ankle injury.

He reported that he has been running for three to four weeks, and his recovery has been progressing well.

Emphasizing the urgency of getting fit for the final, he expressed gratitude toward the performance staff at Warrington, specifically praising physiotherapist Nick Murphy and head of performance Ade Gardner for their support.

He stated, "They've been brilliant in getting me back to where I want to be," highlighting their effectiveness in shortening his recovery time by "shaving off three to four weeks off a normal recovery time." Williams noted that the recovery process included some "trial and error" to see what worked best for him, but he has been responding positively.

He concluded by reflecting on his dedication, saying, "It's the most professional I've ever been in my life really, just doing everything I can."
