Talks on hold: May's Game 1 dreams tackled

New South Wales Blues head coach Laurie Daley has explained the exclusion of Terrell May from Game 1, suggesting that other players are currently outperforming him.

Despite May's strong season with the Tigers-having played significant minutes and posted impressive statistics-Daley indicated he has no plans to discuss this with May directly.

Reports from zerotackle.com highlight May's exceptional performance over the first 11 weeks of the season, making him one of the top players in the competition.

Up until mid-last week, many expected that he would secure a starting spot for the Blues.

However, speculation began circulating regarding Daley's conversations with advisors who raised concerns about May's defensive capabilities, despite his nearly 98% tackle success rate.

Additionally, his "eccentric character" was cited as a potential issue for the intensity of the ten-day camp.
